Before the conception of what is now known as KOKORO London, our dear friend Alex Reinke was a supporter of our workmanship and vision. When we launched, he kindly gifted us the drawing above of a two tailed fox, known in Japanese as a "Kitsune" to represent the start of Kokoro's journey.
In Japanese mythology, the Kitsune is an animal that holds the ability to grow and withstand trials and tests that life gives it, yet still being true to its nature and spirit. This symbol is one in which we wish to live by, persevering through life holding onto our mantra; to do and work using our intention, emotion and intellect and most importantly our Kokoro - heart;mind;spirit.
The MR Kitsune Scarf is spun by an artisan factory at the base of Mount Fuji, Japan. It has been digitally edited from the original drawing and printed on silk and cashmere blended yarns.
We want to celebrate our launch with you by offering the opportunity to win one of these scarves. To enter, share your favorite Irezumi tattoo and tag us with #KokoroLovesTattoos.
Two winners will be announced on our social media channels.
Competition ends midnight on the 25th September 2015.
